So Riesling and I were in the car and she looked up at the directional indicator and said, “Oh, we’re going West,” upon seeing the “w” showing on the LED display. Then she asked, “Mom, what’s behind us?”
I almost answered, “The road and a field.” But for some reason, I decided to keep my mouth shut for a moment and she said, “East is behind us.”
Trying to styfle my complete astonishment/amazement, I replied, “Yes it is, West is the opposite of East. So what is the opposite of South?” She sat silently for a moment and replied, “North.”
